This was a surprise find. I was on a road trip and pulled into this small town off the highway to take a break. Some of the greatest finds occur by accident. I could have easily driven past this one. Click for larger versions.
Hey this is a very interesting find, would you mind telling me where exactly you found this place? Im looking into filming a short film, and we are looking for a run down old place and this would be perfect! Please comment back telling me the details.

I love these old houses and buildings. I love to see someone else who has as much fascination as me when it comes to old, abandoned houses. They all have so much history but rarely is it possible to find out what it is.
a friend, and I have purchased old properties like this one to then be Turned into (Co-op) Condo Apartments. People love to live in Properties like this one as long as the historic stays on the outside... Beautiful find.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWhere is this place? I'm a photography student and this would make a very interesting setting.
It's an old Army Village called Vanastra, off Highway 4 south of Clinton.
ReplyDeleteThe town is still active, but some old Army Barracks Apartments remain.
